E! Online is breaking hearts today by reporting this news: Naya Rivera might not be back for the final season of Glee next fall. From the story:
According to one Glee source, that decision has not been finalized-for Naya or for any of the cast. Producers have until June 30 to determine who will be a part of season six.
The reason why Naya is the focus, however, is that Santana isn’t part of at least two episodes of the current season, and Lea Michele recently omitted her name as part of a naming of who she’s been filming scenes with in New York.
As Naya has been working hard on her music career while also lending herself to all kinds of campaigns and photoshoots, it wouldn’t be a complete surprise that she’s a little too busy to keep up with the Fox series. But it is Glee, after all, where stars come in and out as storylines and schedules permit.
