Tegan and Sara's Top 5 Covers
There are few artists who can take a song and make it better than the original. Tegan and Sara are one of those bands that give some of their favorite tunes a tune-up, adding some T&S flavor to make well-known ditties sound completely different.

Here are our Top 5 Songs Covered by Tegan and Sara.
The sisters began doing their own rendition of the hit song while on their 2007 tour. Their stripped down version was slower, sexier and easier to sing along with.
Weezer bassist Matt Sharp joined T&S on stage to perform a song with lyrics that made fans swoon.
3. "Dancing in the Dark" - Bruce Springsteen
Self-professed Springsteen superfans, this is one of their first covers that they performed while on stage and doing special performances like in-stores and radio stations.
2. "Turnpike Ghost" - Steel Train
As friends of the band, Tegan and Sara were one of several other female groups and artists that took a turn at covering a song off Steel Train's new album.
The newest cover is on Germs of Perfection: A Tribute to Bad Religion and the duo's fans might be introduced to the punk band through the beautiful low-fi cover.
