I prefer to think of it as StraightButNotNarrowHeads

Straightheads, which opens in the U.K. April 20 (U.S. release date to be determined) stars Gillian Anderson as a woman hell-bent on revenge after she and a (male) paramour are attacked in the woods.

The movie seems to have a lot in common with Straw Dogs and sounds generally disturbing. But hey, if it means seeing Gillian kick some ass, I’m willing to sit through some unsettling stuff.

Gillian Anderson

I’m reminded of that X Files scene in which she said, “This is no place for an entomologist!”

The film is written and directed by documentarian Dan Reed, who explains the title as “a term gang members used to use for anyone who wasn’t involved in crime.” Check his Straightblog (what a ridiculous name) for more.
