Sandra Bullock was honored for quietly donating millions of dollars to charities following September 11th and the Indian Ocean Tsunami in December 2004, and Queen Latifah, who NY magazine described as “the most popular person in the world…judging from the chorus of screams that greeted the mere mention of her name”, was given The Role Model award for being an inspiration to lesbians women around the world.
