The first photos of Von Iva and Zooey Deschanel‘s fictional band Munchausen By Proxy in the upcoming film Yes Man have surfaced and, boy, does this band look like they play some fun gigs. Yes Man hits theaters Dec. 19, but the soundtrack to the film, which includes four tracks co-written by Zooey and the members of Von Iva for the film, will be released Dec. 9 on Lakeshore Records.
Anyone familiar with Zooey’s singing talents (either from Elf or as part of the indie-pop duo She and Him) and Von Iva’s brand of electro-dance rock has to be interested to hear this collaboration, especially since Zooey and Jillian Iva will be sharing vocals and there’s no guitar involved. However, there are definitely some colorful keytars on that stage. Interesting!
