We started reporting on K-11 back in 2008 when we found out Jules Stewart wanted her daughter Kristen Stewart and Twilight co-star Nikki Reed in the leading roles. Although that didn’t come to fruition, the film was made and will be released next month, and it might still be of interest to you. K-11 is the name of the part of the L.A. County Jail where LGBT prisoners are sent for their perceived safety. Having seen the film, I can tell you there doesn’t seem to be any lesbians in there, but Kate del Castillo plays the transexual leader who keeps even the guards in their places. K-11 will be available on demand and in select theaters on March 15.
