Morning Brew: Wednesday, March 10

Hello gay women!

Melissa Etheridge is lending her talents in support of the earth yet again. She’ll be performing at the Dow Live Earth Run for Water in Atlanta on April 18.

Just a reminder that the new cycle of America’s Next Top Model is on The CW tonight (8 p.m. EST), including out contestant Tatianna. Get ready to judge some new smizes!

k.d. lang is working on a new album of completely original songs and also says she’ll be embarking on a Canadian tour, but not until 2011.

Julianne Moore is DIVA magazine’s new cover model. As an actress well-versed in playing gay, she told the mag, “I feel that to describe it as such can be reductive sometimes. The films I’ve made are about humanity, about what it is to be alive and for me the stories are about all of us.” Right, but you also kiss girls and we like that about you.

This Friday, lesbian agent Diana Lancing returns for the finale of White Collar. That takes her episode count up to to two for the whole season. That’s not enough lesbian for me.

On the season two premiere of BBC show Love Soup, shopgirl Alice Chenery finds herself under the supervision of a “predatory lesbian boss.” Grumble grumble.

Ghostella director/resident AfterEllen.com horror film buff Stacie Ponder is hosting a live blog tonight in conjunction with her podcast, The Scare-ring. It’s the launch episode, and promises some special guests, so join in at 8 p.m. PST.

Hey geeky gay girls — Battlestar Galactica is launching a Massively-Multiplayer Online (MMO) game next fall. Says Bill Kispert, VP of digital platforms for Universal Pictures: “We’re picking a point in the chronology of the series that fans are very familiar with to tell new stories. There will be space combat as well as missions and exploration.” Starbuck lives on!

Lesbians love Chloë Sevigny — and why shouldn’t we? Well, you could be a little put off by her interview with The Advocate. The actress says she “still kiss[es] girls occasionally” but “wouldn’t say [she] was bisexual.” Also, in regards to if she could ever be in a relationship with a woman: “Probably not, no. I need more meat and potatoes — with more of the meat part, I guess.” She obviously just hasn’t met the right woman yet.

You can pre-order Suze Orman‘s new book, Suze Orman’s Action Plan: New Rules for New Times for $9.99. The book comes out March 23 and will surely be full of Suze Smackdowns.

Lesbian video site Tellofilms.com is relaunching March 15 with behind-the-scenes interviews with the cast and crew of GirlTrash! Up All Night, including stars Gabrielle Christian, Mandy Musgrave and directors Alexandra Martinez Kondracke and Angela Robinson.

While in the UK recently, Lindsay Lohan went on Alan Carr‘s talk show where he asked about her love life, her sexuality and some other personal questions.

I hadn’t heard of this “Arthur or Martha” business before. UK readers, is this used frequently or did Alan Carr create this to make LiLo blush?

TTYL.
