GOOD MORNING! It really is an awesome morning with the striking down of DOMA as unconstitutional and saying “Peace out, Prop 8!” I’m feeling all:
Turn on LOGO for the latest on all these Supreme Court rulings.
Russell Brand was talking about out lesbian presenter Clare Balding on a radio show in the UK when he said he likes to help “test” lesbians.
I just do that with lesbians, like “come on, you’re not that lesbian. For heaven’s sake, you’re just being difficult now.” She’s in a happy relationship, isn’t she? I won’t rest, until every lesbian relationship in Britain has been disrupted by an unwelcome boorish Essex boy.
I’m so sure that all the lesbians in the land are like “I guess I could try it with this loud, hairy British man.”
Although the Macklemore & Ryan Lewis video for”Same Love” was making its rounds on the internet months ago, it’s only been recently that the song itself has popped up on radio stations. HitFix thinks its the first same-sex radio hit, but they clearly aren’t familiar with Melissa Etheridge.
Do you want to hear Charice sing “Titanium” with another lesbian musician? I do. It’s our lucky day.
If you’re a nerd like me, you’ll enjoy this New Yorker piece on understanding Gertrude Stein.
Mount Moriah went live in the Current studios recently.
If you love the faces on Pretty Little Liars, you’ll like this interview with the show’s make-up artist Cindy Miguens. On Emily’s “laid-back” look:
We use lots of bronze colors on her eyes (Stila), coral lips (Tarte), neutral cheeks and contour (Benefit and Amazing Cosmetics).
It helps that Shay Mitchell is a babe and a half.
I really appreciate this new ad for Yves Saint Laurent’s Manifesto fragrance. Jessica Chastain looks smoldering in a suit.
Lea DeLaria wore a suit of her own on the red carpet for Orange is the New Black in NYC this week.
Over at EW, Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander take a pop culture personality test.
Kate Moennig wore her usual all black and white at the Ray Donovan premiere in L.A. last night.
She also posed with co-star (and former L Word lover) Rosanna Arquette. Think there’s any lingering sexual tension?
Today is the last day to contribute to I Want to Believe, a short film starring Bex Taylor-Klaus as a tomboy whose best friend dies but comes back to live.
If you’ve ever wanted to see Heather Locklear get gay, you should start watching Franklin & Bash. The actress told Conan she makes out with Jane Seymour this season.
I don’t really get this song, but maybe you will! It’s called “Herbicides (Made Me Gay).”
I love this scene from next week’s The Fosters. Thanks to Lucy Hallowell for sending to me.
