Morning Brew – Wed. Jan. 16: Sarah Paulson does her best Holly Hunter, GLAAD nominates “Glee,” “Go On” and more

Morning!

It sounds like Happy Days star Erin Moran is hoping to fall in love with a woman. Did I mention she was a little drunk when she was saying this? We don’t need any more drunk straight girls, thanks!

If you watched Happy Endings last night, you were introduced to Jane’s ex-girlfriend, Ryan. But what we could really use on TV is a lesbian character like the show’s gay guy Max. AKA a hilarious lesbian whose storylines aren’t all about her being a lesbian.

Erin McKeown has released her new video for “Proof.” If you love it then you can watch a behind-the-scenes video about the making of the video over at Paste.

Naya Rivera talked about how much her performance of Taylor Swift’s “Mean” meant to her when she sang it on Glee.

First of all, I loved that song and when I heard that new arrangement, I fell in love with it even more. Shooting it was really emotional and I just really took the time to listen to the lyrics and sort of convey my feelings for Brittany at that time. It was really awesome.

Machete Kills will hit theaters September 13. Just a reminder it stars Michelle Rodriguez, Sofia Vergara, Amber Heard and Lady Gaga among others.

GLAAD has announced their nominees for this year’s Media Awards. Some notable lesbian-themed nominees include Mosquita y Mari (Outstanding Film – Limited Release); Grey’s Anatomy, Degrassi and True Blood (Outstanding Drama Series); Go On and Glee (Outstanding Comedy Series); and Gossip’s Joyful Noise (Outstanding Music Release). Check out the whole list before winners are announced this spring.

If you like wine, you might want to try Egalite, which is “wine for equality.” Seriously.

Sarah Paulson was hilarious on Watch What Happens Live last night. Check out her Holly Hunter impression.

Out artist She King has released a music video for her song “Mirror Me.”
