Morning Brew – Wed. April 11: Jane Lynch loves married life, “The Real L Word” gets a premiere date

Happy Hump Day!

I went to see Sister Spit last night. Check them out if they are in your city, guys.

Rachel Maddow was on The Tonight Show last night and you can watch her interview right here. That’s how much I love you/her.

The night prior, Jane Lynch was talking with Jay.

And over at The Huffington Post, Jane talked married life:

We’re having a great time and my daughter has settled in so well, loves her friends and loves being in school. We have a beautiful little suburban life.

Indonesian actress Dinda Kanyadewi plays gay and kisses another girl in her new film Sanubari Jakarta, out this week. She told The Jakarta Globe:

I have never portrayed this kind of sexual orientation before. This was a challenge for me. It’s up to the viewers to form their own opinions. I can only say that by watching this film, they may know there truly is a community like this. And we cannot simply close our eyes.

Jessie J performed “Domino” on The Voice last night. Supposedly Team Christina was performing with her, but they were really just lip syncing the lyrics off-mic and smiling while dancing around her.

Also on The Voice, our last queer hope, Erin Martin, was eliminated after America and coach Cee-Lo Green didn’t save her. Here’s her singing for her life with “Your Song.”

If you’re in Chicago, like I used to be, the University of Chicago has an awesome new exhibit called “Fevered Archives: 30 years of comics from the not-so-mixed-up files of Alison Bechdel.” Sounds like something I might be willing to fly across country to see. Friends, I’m staying with you.

Showtime has announced The Real L Word will make its Season 3 debut on July 12. Get psyched! Get Showtime!

I am so going to see The Moth Diaries when it opens April 20. IFC has commentary from director Mary Herron with this trailer. Pretty rad.
