Good morning!

Last night was the True Blood Season 5 premiere in Los Angeles. Here are some of our favorite women from the show, looking good enough to eat.

That last one just captures Janina Gavankar‘s personality so perfectly.

Lesbian director Léa Pool (Lost and Delirious) is behind a new documentary about breast cancer culture called Pink Ribbons, Inc.. It explores where and how money donated to breast cancer goes — and where it doesn’t — and how actual breast cancer patients feel about those pink ribbons. The film opens in the U.S. tomorrow and Lea gave out some advice for aspiring female filmmakers:

Do it. We want to see your images and to hear your voices.

Check out the trailer and get inspired.

Did you know yesterday was the 49th anniversary of Lesley Gore‘s performance of “It’s My Party” on American Bandstand? Of course you didn’t — why would you? Anyway, Flavorwire decided to celebrate the proto-feminist anthem by listing some others, including Ma Rainey‘s “See See Rider Blues.”

When Shailene Woodley‘s TV mom, Molly Ringwald, comes out on Secret Life of the American Teenager, lesbian rumors are going to flare up at school. Apparently kids at the Secret Life high school think lesbianism is contagious.

Catch a brief glimpse of Diana Berrigan in the new White Collar promo. The show comes back for a fourth season on July 10.

The Huffington Post interviewed Joan Osborne about her new album Bring it on Home.

In some exciting news, Anne Holt‘s book series about lesbian cop Hanne Wilhelmsen has been optioned for a TV show. No network is attached yet but Anne will serve as an executive producer alongside Anne Thomopoulos. I might need to read these eight novels immediately. Here Anne is talking about the inception of the series.

If you have an hour today, check out this episode of The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet on Lifetime, which has in-depth discussions on drugs, sex, marriage, divorce and everything else with Lady Gaga and Portia de Rossi. Way worth watching!
