Morning Brew – Natasha Lyonne talks wild fans on “Seth Meyers”

Good morning!

How about a list of 50 fierce femmes?

Out rapper LoveLiz has a hot new video for her song “The Wave Rhythm.”

A new series in India called Yudh will have a lesbian storyline between women played by Mona Wasu and Rishina Kandhari. Mona will play the main character’s secretary, who meets Rishina’s character (a news reporter) while on the quest for some truths about her boss. From a news report:

Rishina’s character will confesses her liking for Mona, who will use it to her advantage. Mona’s character, also named Mona in the series, will be shown as an opportunistic woman who can use situations to her advantage,” sources revealed, adding, “There will be subtle references to lesbianism in the show through gestures. There won’t be anything explicit that could irk the viewers.
So basically, it’s subtext and you’ll never get a payoff. Yay?

Um also this young Indian woman fake comes out to her mom as a prank. AWESOME.

Natasha Lyonne went on Late Night with Seth Meyers recently where she talked about wild OITNB fans that want her to sit on their face(s).

Here’s what she did after the show. (No face sitting.)

And Taylor Schilling, Danielle Brooks, Laura Prepon and Jason Biggs stopped by Alan Carr Chatty Man.

If you thought Jackie Cruz looked familiar, BTW, she’s the one who kissed Kourtney Kardashian on Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami.

OITNB costume designer Jennifer Rogien talked about her sweet gig with EW.

Just cast in Season 3: Mary Steenburgen.

Maya Rudolph has joined the cast of Paula Pell’s new film The Nest. Like this movie could get any better.

Maura and Jane are the only female/female couple on this list of 8 TV Duos Who Should Hook Up Already.

Jodie Foster attended a celebration of director Jonathan Demme in New York on Saturday.

Ellen Page strongly disagrees with Rick Perry. Good.

Ariel Schrag names her favorite literary impostors for HuffPo.

Lesbian writer Octavia Butler had so many more ideas that the world missed out on when she passed.
