Morning Brew – Monday, Sept. 26: Kelly Clarkson says she’s never made out with a girl, Anna Paquin attends Point Gala with hubby

Happy Monday!

Jellyfish thwarted out swimmer Diana Nyad’s latest attempt to swim from Cuba to Florida, and she’s pissed about it.

Diana, you should be majorly proud of yourself. I’m sure by 60 I won’t done 10 percent as much life-threatening swimming as you have.

Anna Paquin and hubby Stephen Moyer attended the Point Foundation’s Point Honors scholarship gala this weekend, which is all about giving money to LGBT students. Stephen is a great ally, isn’t he?

Kelly Clarkson keeps talking about gay rumors that surround her. Therefore, I think she protests too much.

ScreenJunkies has a list of funny lesbian comics. Who is this Ellen DeGeneres person they’re talking about?

Speaking of Ellen, I’m fairly sure The National Enquirer was having a really slow news day when they cooked this story up. According to the rag, Rachael Ray doesn’t like that Ellen is sharing her vegan lifestyle with the world, and “rolled her eyes” when she heard Ellen would include some recipes in her new book. From “a source”:

“Rachael thinks it’s a terrible idea. She said Ellen should get her own ideas and stick to what she does best — interview celebrities — and leave the cooking to the professionals. The knives are out between them.”

Doesn’t that just sound fake? I mean, come on.

Care2 has a great piece on how to erase bisexual invisibility. Next, perhaps, they could try how to erase femme invisibility? I hate when people think I’m straight.

I’m super psyched for October 7! The Rosie Show and Oprah’s Life Class both debut. Here’s Oprah trying to teach Rosie how to announce celebs.
