Morning Brew – Mon. March 4: Lily Tomlin on “Inside Comedy,” lesbian teens left out of their yearbook

Good morning!

Looks like Lifetime has un-canceled Drop Dead Diva, so if you’re a fan of that very queer show, rejoice.

Supposedly Rosie O’Donnell is working on a lesbian parenting book and she asked Jodie Foster to contribute but she was turned down. I really just want to know who Jodie is with in that photo.

Bitch magazine has a list of the best lines from a 1968 book about bisexuality. Very interesting.

Out hip-hop duo Kin 4 Life has a sexy new video for their song “Take Your Clothes Off.”

Turkey has a new film about their PFLAG called My Child. That one is definitely going to make me cry.

A lesbian couple had their photo axed from their high school yearbook. Felicia Rivera and Lialani Hernandez were cuddling in a photo for the Valentine’s Day spread and the yearbook staff decided they could not post one of two girls based on “display of public affection.” I’m sure all the straight couples in that spread were sipping the same milkshake from two straws.

If you’re looking for a power lesbian, Scotland Conservative Party leader Ruth Davidson is now available. I’m sure if you move to Glasgow, it’s just like Lip Service.

Lily Tomlin is interviewed on Inside Comedy tonight. Finally!

Poet Michael Klein spoke with BuzzFeed about learning from the late Adrienne Rich. He’s so lucky to have known her.
