Morning Brew – Michelle Rodriguez on her relationship with Cara Delevigne

Good morning!

Michelle Rodriguez has spoken, for the first time, about dating supermodel Cara Delevigne while at the BAFTAs.

“It’s going really well. She’s so cool. When we started hanging out I just thought she was awesome, and we have the best time together. She’s hard though. You wouldn’t want to mess with her in a fight.”

Well it sure seems like they know how to have fun together! I’m amazed Cara has the time to date. I feel like she is in every fashion show ever.

Who doesn’t like a slideshow of the best lesbian actresses?

Braden Summers took photos of LGBT couples all over the world and, damn, they are beautiful. Legendary performer Elaine Stritch has a crush on Greek actress/politician Melina Mercouri but she “wouldn’t go through with it.”

Congrats to Beth Rosen and Maryann King on their marriage, as featured in the New York Times this weekend. Beth wrote about her coming out, her wedding, and her mother for the New York Times magazine.

Interviewed in the magazine this week: Emma Wolfe, Bill de Blasio’s out Director of Intergovernmental Affairs. Rosie O’Donnell says she wanted to come out in Cosmopolitan in 1992 but the magazine wouldn’t let her. On a MarloThomas.com’s Mondays with Marlo, Rosie said:

“I didn’t necessarily come out career-wise, but everyone in my life knew. Everybody in the world knew. Just, at the time, nobody printed it. Helen Gurley Brown, I remember, took it out of an interview…She was protecting me because at that time it would’ve been a huge issue, right? So, I think it’s changed a lot.”
Some Second City women read hilarious Grindr conversations. I was educated.

Are you ready for Tegan and Sara as Legos? Things I thought I’d never see made into a music video.

Lindsay Lohan is sparking rumors after posing with Georgia May Jagger in a sexy Instagram photo. I’m not convinced, as I’ve seen way too many posed lesbiany Insta photos.
