Morning Brew – Lindsay Lohan says Samantha was her first same-sex love

Good morning and Happy Friday!

Lindsay Lohan told Andy Cohen that Samantha Ronson was her first ever same-sex partner. She did not say anything about if she was her last, though.

A new film called Proxy is described as “sociopathic lesbian love triangle.” Sold! It’s on VOD this weekend.

UK X-Factor champ Sam Bailey said she was called a lesbian in her youth because she loved tracksuits. That must have been her Lady Sovereign phase.

A KFC in Bath made a lesbian couple leave after claiming they were “heavy petting” and it offended other customers. Is it really these women’s fault that KFC is a romantic dinner destination?

How much sex will be in Season 2 of Orange is the New Black? A lot, if creator Jenji Kohan speaks the truth. (Some of it includes dudes, just FYI.)

This list was presented without any additional commentary, so feel free to create some of your own: Non-Lesbian Style Icons of the 1990s. (I had such a crush on Sanaa Lathan in Love & Basketball.)

Rosie O’Donnell has lost 50 pounds.

Comedy blog The Spittake loves Carol Leifer’s new book.

Remember when we created our own NWSL Fantasy League Team, the Goldstars? It’s now a reality!

Guinevere Turner talked about her career, making Go Fish and her new film Creeps with MyFirstShoot.com. A quote:

To me, working on an independent film is hard for everybody, but the only real obstacle that I definitely felt after Go Fish was that people thought that was all we had to say, as if we made a movie because we wanted to tell our story, and that was the end of the story of us in terms of filmmakers. It was also a bit of a hurdle to prove that I’m a writer. I was also just so young, so I didn’t know how to take a meeting. I remember saying very stupid shit. So, I guess my biggest hurdle was that I had to grow up really fast in order to get jobs.

Looks like Batwoman has a custody battle coming up. Yikes. (Thanks Peter!)

Fun Home the musical is heading to South Carolina for two very special performances. This was inspired by a SC Senator cutting funding from a university that put the Alison Bechdel book on its reading list.
