Morning Brew – Lesbian artist Cat Staggs is drawing Wonder Woman for DC

Good morning! Happy Tuesday.

Russell T. Davies (aka the creator of the original Queer as Folk) is working on a documentary series about sex. It’s called Tofu and he’s looking for participants that are, “Men, women, every gender – all the pronouns! – trans or cis, straight or gay, bi, curious, maybe you’re sex-obsessed or take-it-or-leave-it, or maybe you’ve – whisper the words – never had sex and aren’t afraid to say so.” Sound like something you’d be into?

The Guardian gives some good advice to a woman who is involved with a man but interested in women.

I actually would be fine if you told my sister you thought I dressed really well. Cosmo has that and more on “9 Things Not to Say to Someone Who Has a Gay Sibling.”

Ellen DeGeneres is loving Heather Reid’s new album and recommending it to fans.

I love this piece at BBC Sport from footballer Casey Stoney: “Why being a gay mum can help my England career.” Congrats on the pregnancy!

Lesbian artist Cat Staggs is working on a new Wonder Woman comic for DC. (!!!!)

“She is such an important character to so many people and I am so excited to see the various ways that is manifested. I know that Amanda Deibert (my wife, and the writer of the arc that I illustrated) and I really enjoyed bringing the character we love so much to life.”

Costumes from Pretty Little Liars, Portlandia, American Horror Story: Coven, The Good Wife, Salem and Orange is the New Black are on display as part of FIDM’s Outstanding Art of Television Costume Design exhibit.

American Horror Story: Freak Show is going to have the brooding darkness of Asylum but the campy humor of Coven.

Glee‘s last season is shorter than originally planned because Fox wanted to give it a 13-episode straight run and “celebrate” it.
