Morning Brew – Jodie Foster is back on the set of “Orange is the New Black”

Good morning! I went to see Life Partners at Outfest last night and it was hilarious. I highly recommend seeing it when you get the chance this year.

Look who is on the set of OITNB today!

Lea Delaria spoke with The Huffington Post about being a butch top and her fashionista girlfriend, who works at V magazine.

She has to pick everything out, because that is actually her field. Chelsea Fairless is her name, and she is very well known in that scene in NY in the fashion world. So I have to say, who does me there? Its gotta to be my girlfriend — who’s in fashion. Sandra Bernhard is a really good friend of mine, and she says, “I’m so glad you met her! You always looked nice in a suit, honey, but your suits. It just wasn’t quite right and you needed to work on your accessory situation and la la la.” And I used to have a horrible shoe fetish and I stopped myself, and now Chelsea has reignited my show fetish.

Of course a band called Tomboy has a hot queer woman at its center. Check out their new video for “Hang Out.”

John Legend has a wonderful new video for “You & I” that includes women of all kinds. That means it has a lesbian couple, Tig Notaro and Laverne Cox among many other beautiful ladies of all ages, shapes, colors and identities.

I love John Legend and how inclusive he continues to be.

SpoilerTV has a shot of Betty (Annaleigh Ashford) from Season 2 Episode 2 of Masters of Sex.

IndieWire wonders if The Golden Girls was as LGBT friendly as the community recalls.

Laurel Holloman posted a link to some of her new work, “The Fifth Element.”

Linda Perry shows off her softer side in remembering a moment from her wedding to Sara Gilbert.

Lisa Cholodenko attended the HBO TCA day at the Beverly Hilton yesterday where she was answering questions about her new mini-series Olive Kitteridge. She’s directing the series while out writer Jane Anderson is behind the script and Frances McDormand stars.

HBO also announced yesterday it would be airing the Bessie Smith biopic, Bessie, in 2015. That’s the film that Dee Rees (Pariah) is directing and Queen Latifah is both producing and starring in as the queer blues singer.

Dee Rees Out designer Becca McCharen’s line CHROMAT is blowing up big time. It’s so great to have a lesbian-created design gracing the bodies of Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Iggy Azaela and other gorgeous babes.

Glee‘s final season will only have 13 episodes. I don’t know if this is good news or bad news.

Mary Lambert has a brilliant new lyrics video for her single “Secrets.”
