Morning Brew – Friday, March 23: Sharon Stone and Sofia Vergara will get in bed together, MC Lyte responds to Odd Future calling her a lesbian

Thank. God. It’s. Friday. You know what I’m saying?

If you’re a fan of Glee (which you probably are), you know Charice. Well the pint-sized Philippine singer has changed her look to be more “edgy,” and some asshat asked her if this means she’s a lesbian now. Her response:

Why would you ask me that question? I think that’s a very inappropriate question. For me, just love me. I’m a person. If you think I’m a boy or a girl or if I look like a boy, then fine. I’m Charice. I know what people think… I don’t care. This is the look that I want. The only thing that you can do is move on.

High fives and hell yeahs to you, Charice!

Tonight on ABC, check out What Would You Do?‘s latest gay-related conundrum: A lesbian bride being refused a dress at a bridal shop. Sadly, it’s based on something that happened in real life.

Tyler the Creator is at it again! In the new Odd Future single “Rella,” he alludes to MC Lyte being a lesbian (“See these girls talkin’ all that s–/I’m just tryna see some tits/ Let’s get it poppin’ like, MC Lyte, around some dykes”) and the rapper herself is not amused. She told Hip Hop DX:

Yeah, I definitely was insulted. First off, it’s totally new school. [Tyler] has yet to understand — although he can have quite a bit of followers and fans, it does take a moment from one’s entry in the business for them to really understand what it is that we do for other people. And how we inspire them, and how we influence them, and how we can literally make or break another human being’s day. And with all that I’ve done throughout my years in inspiring generations of people, I think it very irresponsible of him. With saying that, we do have a generation that is quite irresponsible when it comes to what it is that they’ll say [and] their behavior. [But still], it took me by surprise. One, because I know of people who know him and kind of hold him in high esteem. [But] from that action alone, I don’t know that I feel it worthy for me to address it in any other format, outside of this. But, yeah, I thought it was very careless.

Now I’m going to listen to her songs like “I Go On” all day and say things like “Yeah!” or “Sing it!” in support.

Alyssa Milano is the latest casting addition to the U.S. adaptation of Mistresses. I approve!

Sofia Vergara and Sharon Stone are going to sleep together in the comedy Fading Gigolo. Don’t get too excited — it’s a threesome with John Turturro. The title of the film is enough to make me cringe, but man, Sharon does play a pretty mean gay chick. Plus, Sofia, right? It’s like, you have to see it.

Thanks to reader Michelle_008, I am now privy to Hollyoakspossible new lesbian couple, Texas and Jodie! The two friends kissed this week, although Texas doesn’t look as into it. Maybe she’s just nervous. Anyone watching this saga?
