So Tammy Lynn Michaels isn’t just taking to her blog anymore — she’s taking to the legal system. Tammy has filed for sole custody of her twins with Melissa Etheridge after Melissa filed for disillusionment of their domestic partnership and asked for shared custody. Something tells me this isn’t going to be pretty.

Railroad Noir: The American West at the End of the Twentieth Century by Linda Grant Niemann is about a bisexual woman (with “lesbian leanings”) that works in the majorly male-dominated industry of railroading. It’s actually her third book on the subject, so we all have some catching up to to do. A review from In These Times notes:
Immersed in a male clubhouse, she writes of entering a caboose, “Every inch of the wall and ceiling was papered with porn. Everywhere I looked was a huge breast or a vulva. The caboose really belonged in a porn museum. No art installation I had ever seen, Keinholtz and Judy Chicago included, even came close.”
Talk about another world! It sounds like an intense read; a glimpse into “the other side.”
NBC’s Today Show was excluding gay couples from their Wedding Contest, but changed their tune after a meeting with GLAAD. Now you and yours can enter to win a dream wedding care of homophobes who were forced to embrace you based on fear of bad publicity!
