Good morning and Happy Friday!
Ann Romney said Modern Family is her favorite TV show, which gave creator Steve Levitan an idea that Ellen DeGeneres wants to be a part of.

Please let this happen! Speaking of Ann, the uber-amazing remixer Elisa Kreisinger put together this video about Ann Romney to make her look like a feminist lesbian separatist.
I’m so excited about American Horror Story: Asylum, it’s ridiculous. We finally have our first glimpse of Sarah Paulson and Clea Duvall in their roles as a lesbian journalist and her committed lover in this promo.
Wondering what Kalinda’s going to be up to when The Good Wife returns? So far it looks like she’s involved in a torrid relationship with her ex.
Out writer Ariel Levy talked with The New York Post about Women’s Equality Day and how we can discourage gender-based toys and ideas for young girls.
I don’t think the solution to fixing our world is to tell your daughter she can’t wear a tutu and be a ballerina if that’s what she wants. I think the point is to make it clear that there are other options. The other thing that is really important is that you don’t want to be saying “pretty” all the time. You don’t want to be drilling into a little female person from the minute she’s born that that’s her value. I think that to me is more something I would be fixated on as a parent than pink and blue, and dolls versus trucks, because a lot of the time it seems like resistance is futile.
Tegan and Sara are on the cover of this month’s Under the Radar magazine. I gotta get a copy this weekend!
Style.com has deemed dressing like a lesbian “in” for this fall. We’re so fashionable! They write:
…it will have ramifications for style. “I think when you see girls running around in Air Jordans and baseball caps, then yeah, something’s moved,” says Mel Ottenberg, the fashion editor of Purple and a stylist for Rihanna. “I’m not sure I’ve ever thought of that look as ‘lesbian,’ necessarily, but I can say that in the past year, Rih’s wearing combat boots in situations where before, nothing but four-inch-heel stiletto booties would do.”
Please, I know some lesbians that prefer stiletto booties to combat boots.
It’s Somer Friday, and this time she’s got a few special guests.
