Morning Brew – President Obama signs executive order against LGBT discrimination in the workplace

Good morning! I hope you had a great weekend.

The best news ever to start today with: The President of the United States has signed an executive order prohibiting employees to discriminate against anyone for identifying as LGBT. It’s a landmark day and one to celebrate. Thank you, President Obama, and to those in our community who never stop fighting for and demanding equality.

I attended the Television Critics Association Awards where some of the winners were also some of our faves, including The Fosters for Outstanding Youth Programming and Orange is the New Black for Outstanding New Program.
