This afternoon the Senate is debating Don’t Ask Don’t Tell. The careers of thousands of honorable gay and lesbian service members hangs on whether Democrats can come together to shut off a threatened Republican filibuster of a vote today on the DREAM Act. This legislation, already passed by the House of Representatives, contains a provision to repeal DADT.
Here’s you chance to watch democracy in action!
Also, if you are a U.S. citizen, please consider calling your Senators right now to encourage them to vote today to repeal DADT. It is not too late to have your voice be heard. The following Senators are still on the fence – so if you reside in their states calling them to urge repeal is a particularly worthwhile cause.
