Mila Kunis talks “Black Swan” with “BlackBook”

Mila Kunis is over all of our salivating about her upcoming big lesbian sex scene with Natalie Portman. Wait, already? We haven’t even had a chance to see it yet. But the star of the upcoming ballerina drama Black Swan told BlackBook all the hoopla is “silly.”

When asked if she at least understood why people might be interested in their private pas de deux, the former That ’70s Show star, she rolled her eyes and said:

Sure, it’s two girls making out, and guys have a thing for that. And Nat is like every guy’s dream. She’s a nerd’s idea of heaven. The whole thing is silly, but I can see why people care.

Um, not just guys have a thing for two girls making out. And girl nerds like Natalie, too.

Mila describes the film from Oscar-nominated director Darren Aronofsky as a “real-life version of the third act of Swan Lake.” The scene in question, between “uptight” Nina (Natalie) and “unhinged and possibly sadistic” Lily (Mila) was described in an early version of the script as “ecstasy-induced hungry aggressive angry sex.” Natalie herself in an earlier interview called the scene “extreme.” Nope, nothing to see here.

Now, I understand why it might get a little tiresome when trying to discuss a serious and dramatic film like Black Swan and all everyone wants to know is about your very special naked sexytime. Speaking of which, nice photoshoot for BlackBook, Mila.

I confess for the longest time to have confused Mila with Rachel Bilson. They are both petite perky brunettes, they were both on popular Fox shows that ran through the mid 2000s. But Mila has really set herself apart of late. Besides Black Swan, she has two other high-profile projects in the works: The apocalyptic thriller The Book of Eli with Denzel Washington and Jennifer Beals and the comedy Date Night with Tina Fey and Steve Carell.

The BlackBook article contends that Mila is on the brink of major movie stardom – which could well be the case. But I am a little concerned that the magazine made you look like a street walker in some of its photoshoot.

Just because Julia Roberts had success with it, doesn’t mean we all have to follow in her hooker heels.
