Lovers of dance rock can rejoice: Not only does Hot Chip have a new EP out today, there’s also the new Franz Ferdinand album. Titled Tonight: Franz Ferdinand, the album mirrors the band’s live shows, which are always full of irresistible feet-moving. Their previous works have been consistent, but their singles have yet to match the popularity of “Take Me Out.” It could be considered a comeback of sorts if Tonight can rival their Domino Records debut.

Here’s what else is out today:

Utilizing previously unreleased tracks from the deceased performer, Eye Legacy features songs put together with Lopes’ group TLC as well as Missy Elliott and Lil’ Mama. Fans will enjoy the DVD and album booklet, which is dedicated to their memories of the artist.

A great way to discover new artists is by listening to them cover ones you love. So if you’ve yet to hear male/female duos The Rosebuds or The Brunettes, then checking out their versions of tracks by The Cure should convince you to check them out further.

The actress (Still Standing, Secret Life of the American Teenager) finally releases her fifth jazz album, after years of putting it on hold. Elements of country can be found on tracks like “Stars Fell on Alabama.”

Acoustic blues at its very best, Saffire is a trio of talented instrumentalists and singers who have called it quits. This is their last-ever recording, so get it while you still can.
