So, we’ve seen what happens when milk is used as an unappetizing, unsubtle projectile. Remind me never, ever to order a glass of milk while visiting Russia. But now, let’s see what happens when milk is used as a force of good – a force of very, very good. As in Dara Torres with a milk mustache good.
Damn, they weren’t kidding when they said milk it does a body good.
The five-time Olympian and 12-time medalist is the latest celebrity to take a swig for the Got Milk? campaign. Sure, the milk folks Photoshopped and polished her to a high sheen in the poster. But all the best bits are still all her. In fact, I’m surprised they didn’t tap Dara as a spokesmodel sooner. Who could be a better example of healthy, hottie living?
Oh, and did you know Dara and her abs turn 42 on Wednesday? Wanna see what almost 42 looks like again, in a bikini?
Just in time for Dara’s birthday also comes the release tomorrow of her book, Age is Just a Number: Achieve Your Dreams At Any Stage In Your Life. It chronicles her life in and out of the pool, including her battle with bulimia, two failed marriages, death of her father and birth of her daughter.
As she told the Associated Press: “I feel like talking about all this stuff, it was all kind of cathartic. It feels good to get it out there. The reaction I get is, ‘Wow, I really know you now.'”
Well, after seeing her mil mustache ad, I’d be more than happy yo get to know Dara. So, anyone else feel like a tall glass of, um, milk?
