Thanksgiving night is always weird. Turkey-hangovers, family-hangovers, hangover-hangovers. And the only thing on TV is whatever Christmas marathon TBS is doing. Home Alone on loop, most likely. And this year, Thanksgiving night is going to get even weirder, because Lady Gaga is teaming up with The Muppets – one of whom she skinned and wore on the red carpet! – for a 90-minute holiday spectacular aptly titled Lady Gaga & The Muppets’ Holiday Spectacular. But that’s not all. Check out this weird confluence of guest stars: Sir Elton John, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, RuPaul, and Kristen Bell. I know, right? Weird. But also kind of awesome.
Yesterday, Kermit the Frog stopped by The View to preview the upcoming holiday special. And today, ABC released some promo photos of the festivities. Anyhoodle, Lady Gaga & The Muppets’ Holiday Spectacular airs on Thanksgiving at 9:30 p.m. EST on ABC. In addition to dueting with Kermit, she’ll also sing with all the guest stars mentioned above (except KBell.) And she’ll perform a few songs from ARTPOP. Will you be watching?
