The movie Blood and Chocolate starts this Friday. It’s from the producers of Underworld — which will either make you really want to see it or make you want to run far, far away — and stars Agnes Bruckner, Hugh Dancy, and Katja Riemann. And it’s about werewolves; specifically, a young teenage werewolf who is “torn between honoring her family’s secret and her love for a man.” So close to Ginger Snaps, and yet so far. Director Katja von Garnier also brought us Iron Jawed Angels, as well as Bandits, which I think I Netflixed once but don’t really remember. I have a feeling I might eventually say the same thing about Blood and Chocolate.
