Only four months until the end of an era.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, the final film in the eight-part series, shows for the first time just after midnight, July 15. I wouldn’t be surprised if Heather Hogan is already in line.
The movie will undoubtedly break all kinds of records and may make the most money of all the films in the series. And Warner Brothers isn’t wasting any time getting started with promotion. In fact, the first teaser for Part 2 came last summer as a combo trailer with Part 1. Need a refresher?
This weekend, as part of a marathon Harry Potter weekend on ABC Family, we saw several “featurettes,” with new footage and interviews with the cast. All three are online, thanks to Trailer Addict, but since the content overlaps we’ll just share the longest version. As always, beware of spoilers.
I have to tell you, seeing the destruction of Hogwarts is hard to take. I’ve read the books; I know what’s going to happen. But I’m still not ready to say goodbye to Harry’s world. Hold me, Hermione.
