Afternoon Delight: Jessica Capshaw teases tonight’s “Grey’s Anatomy,” Kristen Wiig could be leaving “SNL”

Good afternoon!

Happy birthday to Queer As Folk‘s Thea Gill! If you need a pick-me-up, watch the below video of Gill’s QAF character Lindsay as she weds partner Melanie played by Michelle Clunie.

Grey’s Anatomy’s Jessica Capshaw took to Twitter for a little pre-episode foreplay.

Mila Kunis will be reuniting with her That ’70s Show castmates for Fox’s two-hour 25th Anniversary Special airing on Sunday, April 22 at 8 p.m.

To quote Adele, rumor has it Kristen Wiig will leave Saturday Night Live at the end of this season (although Wiig’s representative stated, “No decisions have been made and won’t be until the end of the summer.”). So who will fill Wiig’s shoes/hot air balloon? The Big Gay Sketch Show‘s Kate McKinnon has already been cast in the late night show so my money is on her. Also Chelsea Lately‘s Fortune Feimster and South of Nowhere‘s Mandy Musgrave would make excellent additions to the cast. Eye candy is good for team morale. (Sorry to objectify you that way, Fortune.)

Today the Peabody Award winners were announced. Which shows won big? Portlandia, Homeland, Game of Thrones and Parks and Recreation.

Olivia Wilde has signed on for yet another movie role. When does this girl have time to sleep? Wilde will team up with Liam Nelson for Third Person, a drama directed by Paul Haggis (Crash).

The Glee Project Season 2 cast has been announced and it includes “a 24-year-old paralyzed from the waist down, a transgender 21-year-old, and another 24-year-old who’s been blind since the age of 9.” The casting office did a good job plucking an array of contestants but can these kids sing?

This morning the Huffington Post featured an article by out writer Megan Evans entitled “The Assumption of Heterosexuality When You’re a Feminine Lesbian.” Evans states, “‘Feminine’ is not a synonym for ‘heterosexual,’ and this connotation needs to be broken down and reviewed. I want femme lesbians to be recognized for who we are, to be acknowledged, accepted, and respected.”

Congratulations to New York-based lesbian chef Mirella Salemi!
