Afternoon Delight: Aubrey Plaza gets called a lesbian, London buses promote marriage quality

Good afternoon my lovelies!

Happy birthday to Jennie Garth, Amanda Bynes, Sick of Sarah’s Katie Murphy and Leona Lewis!

Glee‘s Naya Rivera shared an amazing photograph of herself on Twitter. (I’m pretty sure that photo is real.)

Parks and Recreation‘s Aubrey Plaza stars in the comedy Safety Not Guaranteed. In the below trailer, New Girl‘s Jake M. Johnson refers to Plaza’s character as a lesbian, although I’m pretty sure he’s just joking. Because, you know, calling someone a lesbian who is not is hilarious!

This Wednesday, April 4, I’ll be filling in for Erin Foley as host for Gays R Us at the Hollywood Improv (8162 Melrose). The 8 p.m. comedy show will feature Andre Kelly, Cristela Alonzo, Dana Eagle, Chantal Carrere, Mikey Scott, Ashley Austin Morris and Gina Yasher. If you want free tickets, hit me up on Twitter by the end of today.

Public buses in London are featuring Stonewall’s slogan, “Some People Are Gay. Get Over It!’ Throughout the month of April, 1000 of them will be carrying the advertisement promoting equal marriage.

On April 22, Melissa Etheridge will be taking her Fearless Love tour to the MotorCity Casino Hotel in Detroit, MI. Tickets are now on sale for the 8 p.m. show.

Lesbian/Bi Photo of the Day!

Out actress Cynthia Nixon, who’s currently starring in Wit on Broadway, showed off her stunning shaved head at the 2012 Drama Desk panel discussion and luncheon at Sardi’s Restaurant in New York City. I really like Nixon’s dress.
