Morning Brew – Wed. March 7: “Jack & Diane” will premiere at Tribeca, a look at Jill Flint’s return to “The Good Wife”

Good morning guys! I’ll be in Austin, Texas tomorrow through next Tuesday, so Heather Hogan will take over Brew for me. But if you happen to be in Austin for SXSW, I’d love for you to come to my panel, “Subtext and Shipping: The Lesbian Community Online.” But if you are not going to be at the geek fest, my co-presenter Elisa Kriesinger and I will be livetweeting the session and would love love love participation from shippers who want to contribute to the conversation about its importance, why it exists and if it’s still necessary once subtext makes the jump to maintext. Our hashtag will be #subtext and that will happen Monday, March 12 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. central time. Also you can follow me on Twitter to hear about all the TexMex I’m eating cool things I’m learning.

Rosie O’Donnell has sold her house in Chicago and is taking her family and her show back to New York City where it will apparently be easier for her to book guests. I hate to say it, Ro, but people were willing to come to the Windy City for Oprah!

Sandra Bernhard was Rosie’s guest yesterday and she discussed her sexuality, her acting career and her boy crushes. I can get down with Sean Penn, but I can’t believe she did the nasty with Jay Leno.

AE reader Mori sent in this tip about Attenberg, a Greek film made in 2010 that is finally seeing release in the U.S. this week. It’s about a young girl exploring her sexuality, including some lessons with her best friend.

Oh, coming of age films, how I love thee.

Speaking of, Jack and Diane will premiere at the Tribeca Film Fest and we have a few images from the lesbian werewolf flick. The fest happens in April so if you’re in NYC this spring, try and score a ticket.

Michelle Tea’s Valencia is being turned into a film, with each chapter being done by different filmmakers, cast and crew. Take a look at some clips from Chapter 3 and donate to its completion!

Michelle Tea also lends her voice to this animated short, The Deer Inbetween. If you’ve ever heard her read or speak, it’s unmistakable.

The first shots of the new cast of Dancing With the Stars have been released and they have Martina Navatiolva pretty dolled up.

Look who’s baaaack! It’s Jill Flint on The Good Wife, guys!

That episode airs on March 25.
