I have waited a lot of midnights in a lot of queues to buy Harry Potter books and watch Harry Potter movies, and the moment I cracked open Deathly Hallows to the harmony of my hammering heart and Aeschylus The Libation Bearers — Bless the children, give them triumph now — I said out loud, "I’m never going to feel this way again."

There was a whole lot of "Emma Watson red dress" Tweeting going on last night, which was actually the perfect accompaniment to the "Emma Watson music video" Tweeting that was trending its way up thanks to her cameo in the new video for her boyfriend George Craig’s band, One Night Only. Stick it out for the surprise ending; trust me.

Voting is open for the final round of the UK TV Choice Awards and Skins is up for Best Drama Series (along with the absolutely stellar Torchwood: Children of Earth and Ashes to Ashes). And Kaya Scodelario‘s total psychotic meltdown is up against Karen Gillian‘s earnest affability for Best Actress.

Gaga is in a race with President Obama right now to see who can get to ten million fans on Facebook first. Lady Gaga pulled ahead this weekend and how now widened the gap. She’s sitting at 9,500,620 fans, while Obama has a paltry 9,294,580. (Michael Jackson had the record before his death, with just over 13 million.)
