Australia Legalizes Same-Sex Marriage in Historic Decision!

The world has been anticipating this decision for months now, and we’ve been cheering on the Aussies as the day of reckoning drew near.
Only four Members of Parliament voted ‘no’ on changing the Marriage Act. The bill saw overwhelming support from Australians, who voted mostly in its favor during a national poll that we reported on back in September. More than 12.7 million people or 79.5 percent of the population participated in the survey, voting to legalize same-sex marriage.
The governor-general has a few days before the bill is approved and officially mandated as a law.
