Gay pride 2017 is finally here and LGBT people all over the United States are excited to kick it off with a big gay bang! Many people commemorate this historic celebration by marching or rallying but a lot of us (and I mean a lot) celebrate by drinking heavily, making tons of amazing new friends and dancing the night away—and that’s just the beginning. So, if you’re looking to support your fellow LGBT family and party with the hottest lesbian and queer women around, follow this guide to Pride 2017 and let your rainbow flag fly! This is going to be fun.
NYC PRIDE EVENTS:
What: Teaze is NYC exclusive “women’s only” event! You can expect rooftop bars, celebrity guests, all star DJ’s and all for a good cause. All proceeds from the event will go to local LGBT organizations.

What: Femme Fatale is the “Official Sunday event for women” filled with booze, dancing, food and loads of ladies. This exclusive pride party offers an open bar from 4-5pm, NYC’s best DJ’s, and it all takes place in a rooftop bar overlooking NYC. Can it get any better?

When: Sunday June 25th, 2017 from 4-10pm
What: Welcome to the newest all female event at NYC Pride, Moxie. Wear your dancing shoes and prepare to sing your heart out with lesbian megastar of hits like “Same Love” and “Secrets” the one and only Mary Lambert.

This one isn’t specific to women, but you can’t mention NYC Pride and not make a note of the Village Voice Pride Awards. Musical performances have not yet been announced, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed for some female voices.
Village Voice Pride Awards
What: Alan Cumming hosts the first ever Village Voice Pride Awards honoring people in arts, politics, and business who bring pride to the world and the city of New York. The Village Voice has paved the way for the LGBTQ community since 1969 and this prestigious award will continue to add importance to the equal rights movement.

LA PRIDE EVENTS
West Hollywood Dyke March
What: Dykes unite at this famous all women Dyke march! Strap on your helmets for the motorcycle gangs, grab a beer from the dozens of Santa Monica Boulevard bars and honor your lesbianism with thousands of other women. This event will also have a variety of guest speakers and live music.

LA Sparks Pride Night & Women’s Party
What: The WNBA champion women’s basketball team, The Los Angeles Sparks, are hosting their annual LGBT Pride Night at the Staples Center. The women will be shooting hoops then hosting a post game women’s party at the Staples Center City View rooftop immediately following the game.
When: June 6th, 2017 from 6:30pm-1:30am

Dyke Day LA
What: This free inclusive park picnic for queer women is a mix of games, booze, friendly faces, family fun and live music. You can expect to mingle with over 1000 of LA’s queer women community and will most likely walk away with freebies from local vendors that usually consist of lube, stickers and cool coozies.
When: June 13th, 2017 from 12-6pm

SAN FRANCISCO PRIDE EVENTS
SF Dyke March & Rally 2017
What: March to the beat of the Dyke’s March drum in this gigantic LGBTQIA event. Celebrate with over 50,000 other queer women and allies all while honoring dykes! This event offers talks by community activists, live DJ sets, poetry readings and musical artists.
When: Saturday June 24th, 2017 from 11-7pm

Uhaul SF Dkye March After Party
What: This event which has been called the most “Epic Girl Party of the Year”, will feature all female DJ sets, strong drinks and a fancy as f**k atmosphere. There’s a 25$ cover charge but it’s worth it. ***And check it out!! AfterEllen’s own Lily Khuu is DJ’ing this one!!

CHICAGO PRIDE EVENTS
Back Lot Bash Music Festival
What: Self-proclaimed as a place where “the girls come out and play”, this two-weekend music festival gives you their all. The Back Lot Bash is the most attended outdoor women’s festival in Chicago every gay pride—so it’s kind of a big deal. Also, their line-up shouldn’t be missed. Expect appearances and performances by Whitney Mixter, Madison Paige, Sea and Gunn (Daniela Sea & Gunn Lundemo), and Dev, who is headlining the event.
Past performers have included Ruby Rose, Fortune Feimster, Chely Wright, Kate Moennig, Leisha Hailey, Taryn Manning and Gina Yashere, just to name a few.

Watch Conrad the Unicorn in the 48th Annual Chicago Pride Parade
What: It’s a unicorn made completely out of rainbow balloons and everyone loves him. That may sound underwhelming but who wouldn’t want to see an LGBT unicorn named Conrad? He’s a symbol of super gay people and he’s super awesome.
