Yeah, yeah, I know we’ve been giving Damages a lot of space on this blog. But Rush & Molloy, gossip columnists for the New York Daily News, seem to have noticed our fondness for Glenn Close. The important point here is that Glenn acknowledges that her character’s relationship with Rose Byrne‘s character is intriguing in more than one way:
Glenn Close has set legions of lesbian fans abuzz with her FX series, “Damages,” which starts tonight. Lady-loving bloggers such as the girls at afterellen.com confess they’re salivating over Close’s portrayal of a high-powered attorney with a sexy young protégé, Rose Byrne. “You never know what’s going to happen,” Close teased us at the show’s premiere Thursday. “I actually think it’s a very sexy relationship. Rose’s character is a neophyte, she’s innocent, she’s gifted — and she doesn’t know what she’s getting into.”
Just when I think I couldn’t be a bigger fan, she goes and says something like this. Damn you, Glenn Close! I shake my fist in your general direction, in fascination and arousal. Wait. That sounded wrong.
Anyway, here are some more previews. Get out of the car!
