Speaking of The Hunger Games, rumor has it Julianne Moore is up for a role in the next film Mockingjay. Moore is being considered to play President Alma Coin and I think she’s a perfect choice for that role.
On the New York stage Jane Lynch is portraying the evil Miss Hannigan in Broadway’s Annie but the film version will star Cameron Diaz as the alcoholic orphanage matron. I’ve always said Diaz is Lynch’s doppelganger.
In a recent interview Ellen Page discussed the lack of female roles in Hollywood and the feminist porn movement. Page said, “I think feminist porn is crucial. To only have porn from the male perspective is damaging. Women are sexual creatures, as much as men and that needs to be embraced.” Hear, hear!
