Good afternoon and happy Friday! We made it!!!
Happy birthday to Eva Amurri Martino, Eva Longoria and Grey’s Anatomy’s Kim Raver!

This weekend our favorite out musical duo Tegan and Sara will host the Woodie Awards. Tune into MTV on Sunday, March 17 at 8 pm/7 C to catch all the magic.
Lana and Andy Wachowski’s latest movie Jupiter Ascending, starring Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis, is slated to hit theaters on July 25, 2014. (I can’t wait that long!)
Speaking of Kunis, the Black Swan star is being wooed by a female college student. Kirsten Bledsoe, a senior at Hollins University, has created the below video-plea asking Kunis to be her date to her school’s cotillion. How could Mila possibly say no to a girl rocking a pair of Birkenstocks and a six-pack of Blue Moon?
Conservative republican senator Rob Portman is now speaking out in support of marriage equality. Portman has a gay son and said, “We were surprised to learn he is gay but knew he was still the same person he’d always been. The only difference was that now we had a more complete picture of the son we love.”
In case you were wondering, no, Tina Fey will not take over Saturday Night Live when the show’s creator Lorne Michaels retires. (Who are we kidding, Michaels will NEVER retire!) But if he does, I think Portlandia’s Carrie Brownstein and Fred Armisen would be a superb choice to replace him.
The FCKH8.com Facebook page posted an applause-worthy letter that a father wrote to his son after he overheard his son’s plan to come out to his parents.
If you can’t make it to the New York GLAAD Media Awards this weekend you can sign up to watch a livestream of the awards on your computer.
Video of the Day!
I don’t know how I missed this, Awkwafina‘s video for “My Vag” came out in October 2012 and I’m just now discovering it. If I had a time machine, I’d go back and make this my wedding song. Also, I love that her vag is a philanthropist!
Have a great weekend!
