Afternoon Delight: Evan Rachel Wood dreams of KStew, Megan Fox in “Esquire”

Good afternoon my lovelies!

Happy birthday to Charo and Regina King!

Evan Rachel Wood is playing with my emotions on Twitter.

Two of my favorite ladies teamed up for a stellar interview. Make sure to read Miranda July‘s in-depth conversation with Golden Globe winner Lena Dunham, who asked July about her first serious lady on lady relationship and inquired, “How did you feel about her vagina?”

Halle Berry stars in the horror film The Call.

Alias‘s Victor Garber confirmed that he’s gay (and awesome). People has a great picture of Garber and his adorable partner artist/model Rainer Andreesen. I love love!

Kimberly Peirce‘s Carrie reboot has been pushed back to a Halloween release date but to tide you over check out the below creepy-ass poster of Julianne Moore as Margaret White.

Jennifer Lawrence turned down the offer to be interviewed by James Lipton for her own installment of Inside the Actors Studio. When asked why she refused Lawrence said, “Do you know how much that guy would hate me? ‘Tell me about your method?’ There is no method! I never know my lines! He would be horrified. I love that show but I’m not old enough. I’m not at a place yet where I can look back and think ‘Oh this how I….’ I’m not ready. And, please, I’m an animal.” (Which is why I love her!)

Speaking of Lawrence, check out some set photos from the upcoming Hunger Games film Catching Fire and the film’s poster.

Elizabeth Reaser will join Woody Harrelson and Matthew “Alright Alright Alright” McConaughey for HBO’s eight-episode drama True Detective. The series centers around “two detectives, Rust Cohle (McConaughey) and Martin Hart (Harrelson), whose lives collide during a 17-year hunt for a serial killer in Louisiana.”

In case you need some more Anne Hathaway in your life, the Golden Globe-winning actress has been slated to star in a mid-20th century Italian version of Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew.

Angelina Jolie‘s Maleficent won’t hit theaters until July 2, 2014 but, if you care, it will be released in 3D. And rumor has it Tina Fey will join the cast of The Muppets 2, due out March 21, 2014. 2014? I could be dead by then!

Megan Fox is half-naked on the cover of Esquire magazine (thank you) and, in her interview, she compared Lindsay Lohan to Marilyn Monroe, but not in a good way.

Fox said, “I started reading about her (Marilyn Monroe) and realized that her life was incredibly difficult. She wasn’t powerful at the time. She was sort of like Lindsay (Lohan). She was an actress who wasn’t reliable, who almost wasn’t insurable…She had all the potential in the world, and it was squandered. I’m not interested in following those footsteps.” Careful throwing stones, sister.
