Afternoon Delight: “Grey’s Anatomy” sneak peeks, Shonda Rhimes sells a sitcom to ABC

Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes has sold her first sitcom to ABC. The project entitled I Hate L.A. Dudes (sounds like my memoir) will star Issa Rae, known for her web series The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl. Rae will play “an aspiring journalist trying to hold her own on a male-centric talk show while also navigating the emotional cesspool of dating in Los Angeles.”

Forbes has released their list of Hollywood’s highest paid women. Oprah Winfrey nabbed the top spot with Britney Spears, Rihanna, Ellen DeGeneres and Lady Gaga trailing far behind the talk show mogul.

Russia recently passed a law “to prevent displays of public affection between LBGTQI couples across eight major cities.” The Russian website Colta.ru is fighting back against that law with their new photo campaign “With Love From St. Petersburg.” The campaign shows affectionate queer couples in front St. Petersburg’s famous landmarks.
