It’s kind of crazy that Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres got married four years ago today. It seems like they’ve been together forever, and yet, it feels like it was just yesterday they were the first lesbian couple to have their wedding covered by People magazine.
Since they met at the end of 2004, Ellen and Portia have been the ultimate power couple. We’ve aspired to be like them, or at least were inspired by their love for one another and the pride they wear while also maintaing successful personal and professional lives. And they always, always look well-put-together.
