Afternoon Delight: Gaga smells like FAME, everybody wants Olivia Thirlby

Good afternoon everyone!

Happy birthday to Charlize Theron, Abbie Cornish, Brit Marling, Francesca Gregorini and Samantha Ronson!

Rosemarie DeWitt (My Sister’s Sister) and a pixie-haired Olivia Thirlby star in Nobody Walks. Too bad, I enjoy walking. (Did you notice at the 1:19 mark DeWitt’s character admits she’s attracted to Thirlby’s character?)

Claire Danes returns to the award winning Showtime series Homeland starting Sunday, September 30 at 10 p.m. and I can’t fracking wait!

Jennifer Lawrence stars in the Lydie Marland biopic Ends of the Earth. The story follows Lydie Marland and her “uncle/adoptive father/husband, oil magnate.” Marland’s parents hand her over to be adopted by her aunt and uncle, but the uncle has another idea. (This is beyond gross.)

Catherine Keener and Toni Collette will join forces for an untitled comedy by writer/director Nicole Holofcener (Friends with Money). Keener will star as a new friend to Julia Louis-Dreyfuss, who falls in love with Keener’s ex-husband (James Gandolfini). (In what bizzaro-fictious world would Keener marry Gandolfini?) Collette will play Keener’s therapist, who is also a friend to Louis-Dreyfuss.

Glee‘s Dot Jones will make a cameo in TVLand sitcom The Exes. Jones will “appear in a nightclub scene with series leads Kristen Johnston, Donald Faison, Wayne Knight, David Alan Basche and Kelly Stables.”

Speaking of Glee, Jane Lynch dished on guest star Kate Hudson’s upcoming appearance as Lea Michele’s mean dance instructor. Lynch said, “I read the scripts and they’re hilarious. She’s mean and petty and yet there’s a heart there, too. She’s really good. She gives Rachel a really hard time.”

Lady Gaga went skinny dipping with her boyfriend Taylor Kinney and shared photographic evidence on LittleMonsters.com. Whatever happened to privacy?

But I am happy Gaga tweeted this awesome promotional image for her FAME fragrance.

Elizabeth Olsen, Allison Janney and Kate Burton (Grey’s Anatomy) star in the romantic comedy Liberal Arts.

On Thursday night the first ever female NFL referee will take the field. Shannon Eastin will be the line judge for the San Diego Chargers-Green Bay Packers game and I will definitely be tuning in.

Lesbian/Bi Photo of the day!
