Morning Brew – Thurs. July 12: “Black Swan” the most complained about movie of 2011, Diane Kruger’s boyfriend doesn’t mind her lesbian kiss

Morning!

It’s The Real L Word day! Season 3 premieres tonight on Showtime at 10 p.m. EST and we’ll be bringing you some interviews, recaps and all that good stuff today and tomorrow. Want to Tweet about it with us? Use #TRLWAE and we’ll find each other.

If you’re an Adult Swim fan, you probably know this already, but the network has several LGBT characters. Thirty-five, in fact. Not enough women, as usual.

The British Board of Film Classification says that Black Swan was the most complained about film of the last year because of its lesbian sex scene. Apparently 40 people were pissed about it. Those are 40 people I would not want to hang out with.

Joshua Jackson understands what you want from him when you ask how he feels about his girlfriend Diane Kruger’s lesbian kiss in Farewell My Queen. He’s not trying to hear that. He told The NY Post:

Any glib answer I give is going to come back to haunt me. It doesn’t freak me out, really.

As well it shouldn’t. I mean, has anyone seen Josh play gay in Cruel Intentions?

Brooke Vincent would like Rihanna to play her next Corrie girlfriend. Well RiRi is into acting now. Never say never, right Beliebers?

Cat Cora looks pretty good in her mugshot. Lucky for her, she got to have a “redo.”

After you’ve read our interview with Megan Rapinoe, check out this piece she wrote for ESPN about why she came out and why she’s proud to be who she is.

If you’ve been watching Push Girls, as you should be, you’re probably as in love with Tiphany Adams as I am. (She’s adorable!) The bisexual beauty has a dramatic moment on Monday’s episode.
