Morning Brew – Wed. June 27: Jill Flint leaves “Royal Pains,” Suze Orman’s marriage equality episode

Good morning!

We had some tech issues with the Hot 100 yesterday but it should be up again later today. Sorry about that!

On Suze Orman’s most recent episode, she talked about marriage equality and also had on a lesbian couple to help with their finances. Here’s a clip of her discussing her being in a 12-year relationship and someone who pays more taxes than most, and yet not being treated equally.

You go girl.

Earlier this week I told you about the Entertainment Weekly article that surmised Merida of Brave was a lesbian. Here’s what Stephen Colbert had to say about that on his show.

Jill Flint has left Royal Pains. Does this mean she’ll join The Good Wife full time? Please?

Kimberly Peirce has begun filming her Carrie remake. I am seriously so psyched to see this.

Check out the third episode of Kam Kardashian, the web series about the lost gay Kardashian sister.

Megan Rapinoe is one of three Olympic athletes on Team Detour, aka being sponsored by Forward Foods who make the Detour protein bar. Looks like I’ll be eating some of those soon.
