Good afternoon and happy Monday!
Happy birthday to Linda Cardellini, Busy Philpps, Angela Kinsey, Carly Simon and La La Anthony.
Lena Headey plays the “bad guy” in Dredd, the (unnecessary) remake of Judge Dredd. If Olivia Thirlby and Headey have a one-on-one girl fight my brain might explode. Dredd hits theaters September 12.
Tonight tune into TBS to see Mila Kunis on Conan. And tomorrow Iron Chef Cat Cora will stop by The Talk. (Hubba hubba!)
Check out the trailer below and see if you can figure out which Glee star lends her voice to the animated film Wreck-it Ralph. I’ll give you a hint: It’s Jane Lynch.
Out model Freja Beha Erichsen shares her beauty secrets in this month’s Teen Vogue.
I was lucky enough to be in Chicago over the weekend to celebrate the city’s massive gay pride parade. With so much love and support I was shocked to hear about an Illinois lesbian couple who were denied a reception hall for their wedding because, well, they are gay. Haven’t we grown past this? The manager at the University Club in downtown Moline, Kristen Stewart (the non-vampire) said, “Because marriage is a covenant that God created for man and woman, then, as a biblical Christian, I cannot help them enter into or celebrate that sin.”
On a happier note here’s a photo from Chicago gay pride. Out comedian Fortune Feimster (Chelsea Lately) and I switched heads while working the red carpet for the Backlot Bash’s lady lovin’ festivities.
