Afternoon Delight: Cynthia Nixon weds Christine Marinoni, Gaga cancels show in Indonesia

Congratulations to newlyweds Cynthia Nixon and Christine Marinoni! Yesterday the two wed in New York state and for some reason I wasn’t invited. Nixon’s rep confirmed, “On May 27, 2012, Cynthia Nixon and her girlfriend, Christine Marinoni, were legally married in the state of New York. Nixon wore a custom dress by Carolina Herrera.” Mazel tov ladies!

The show must not go on. Lady Gaga has cancelled her June 3 show in Indonesia due to Islamic protesters.The Islamic Defenders Front have been protesting the singer’s upcoming performance stating Gaga is a “messenger from the devil” (she’s not, I checked) and her dance moves are “pornographic.” All ticket-holders will receive a refund.

Gaga took to Twitter to apologize to her fans.



Ellen DeGeneres returns to fish-form on September 14. What, you say? Disney’s Finding Nemo will be rereleased in 3D in select theaters this fall.

Kristen Stewart shares the cover of M Le Monde magazine with her On the Road co-stars Garrett Hedlund and Sam Riley. (I prefer the below solo couch photo.) She’s purrty!

Out comedian/actress Judy Gold returns to the Gotham Comedy Club (208 W. 23rd St.) in New York, NY from June 7-10.
