The lesbian fandom magic number for today is 5 – as in five weeks until Pretty Little Liars returns for Season 2.
The closer the June 14 premiere gets, the more awesome PLL teasers we get – and this week’s is the best so far.
I don’t know about you, but I could spend hours looking at Emily’s expression in that closing shot.

With Ian’s body missing and the entire town of Rosewood questioning what exactly happened the night before at the church, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer have a lot of explaining to do. But with the police and their parents not quite sure what to believe, the girls’ parents rally together to try and help the four out with the assistance of a therapist (guest star Annabeth Gish). Now being forced to talk out their problems, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer feel more alone than ever. Even with a reassurance that everything they discuss won’t leave the therapist’s office, is this the person the Liars can finally tell about “A?” Or is there no place safe from “A’s” watchful eye?
The episode picks up right where the finale left off, with the PLLs wondering what happened to Ian’s body and scared that he’s not really dead. And don’t expect to find out right away; sources tell us that much of this season deals with the possibility that Ian is still alive – or at least haunting the girls. That and figuring out exactly who “A” is are the central dramas of Season 2. And we’re excited.
Wherever that mystery leads, we do know, thanks to AfterEllen.com reader Sandra, that Hanna may be wrong about zombies not texting. After all, the only actual requirement for texting is a set of fingers.
