God Des and She have been a part of both music and lesbian cultures sine 2004, famously appearing on an episode of The L Word and premiering their videos on Logo when it first launched. MC God-des and vocalist She have performed at LGBT events all over the world, including Pride events, equality conferences and the Dinah, bringing their specialized brand of sexy hip-hop to the community on a regular basis. Clearly it helped build a strong and dedicated fanbase, as many banded together to help fund the new G&S album on Kickstarter, raising $13,000 for the project.
