Morning Brew – New promos for “Pretty Little Liars” and “The Fosters”

Good morning, Brewbies! Trish Bendix will be coming at us live from the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour for the next two weeks, so I’ll be covering Brew for a little while. Make sure you follow Trish (@TrishBendix) on Twitter for live updates. I promise you, AfterEllen is the only website on the whole entire Internet representing lesbian and bisexual women at TCA. We’ll have loads of news and interviews and videos coming at you in the next ten days!

ABC Family has already released a couple of promos for next week’s Pretty Little Liars. In one of them, Emily gets some advice from Mr. Fitz.

ABC Family has also gives us a sneak peek at next week’s The Fosters.

By the way, The Fosters had another record-breaking night of ratings this week. Renew this thing already, ABCF!

Wanda Sykes‘ OWN special, Wanda Sykes Presents Herlarious, was, well, hilarious. Check out her sketch “Iyanla: Fix a Flat.” (Hat tip, SheWired.)

The Carrie Diaries has cast Lindsey Gort as the young Samantha Jones for season two. They released the first spandex-clad photo of her yesterday. The show’s first season had one of the best gay teenage storylines I’ve seen in a long, long time, and we’ve been hearing rumors for months that young Samantha will be bisexual, so fingers crossed! (Hat tip, The Backlot!)

Last week a San Diego court clerk filed a petition with the California Supreme Court asking them to issue an order to stop forcing him perform same-sex marriages on account of it’s making him suffer. Yesterday the Court told him to shove off.
