Does she at least fly to Budapest or something?

Jennifer Garner‘s new film Catch and Release starts Jan. 26. It just might be the straightest movie she’s ever made:

Jennifer Garner stars in Columbia Pictures’ romantic comedy-drama Catch and Release, from writer-director Susannah Grant, an Academy Award nominee for her screenplay for Erin Brockovich. After the sudden death of her fiance Gray Wheeler (Garner) finds comfort in the company of his friends: lighthearted and comic Sam (Kevin Smith), hyper-responsible Dennis (Sam Jaeger), and, oddly enough, his old childhood buddy Fritz (Timothy Olyphant), an irresponsible playboy whom she’d previously pegged as one of the least reliable people in the world. As secrets about her supposedly perfect fiance emerge, Gray comes to see new sides of the man she thought she knew, and at the same time, finds herself drawn to the last man she ever expected to fall for.
Are there even any other women in this movie? Oh, right, Fiona Shaw and Juliette Lewis. Juliette and Jennifer look kind of alike in the trailer. And the other thing I noticed about the trailer was Jennifer’s character saying, “I made it with a girl once.” I doubt there’s more to it than that though.

I guess it doesn’t look terrible. Kevin Smith can be funny (even without the Jay to his Silent Bob). But … fly fishing? Really?
